Product controller

Our client is the investment banking division of a primary financial institution

that provides large corporate, government and institutional clients

with solutions to their financing and risk management needs.Reporting to the local CFO, the selected candidate will manage the following activities:

# daily analysis of the pnl;

# daily, weekly and monthly reporting to Front Office and Product Control teams;

# month-end reporting and reconciliation to general ledger;

# definition of accounting treatment for financial products (loans, structured products, bonds, loans trading, financial and credit derivatives (plain vanilla: irs, ccs, repo,...);

# liaise with the Front Office, Product Control, Operations and IT teams abroad;

# active role in IT projects affecting PC systems.

Requisiti

The candidate has professional experience in investment banking with ideally 2/3 years of experience in a Product Control role.

He/she holds a university degree in economics, has strong knowledge of Investment Banking products and related accounting rules (IAS39).

Fluent English and good knowledge of IFRS are required.
